Honest Review of Tommie Copper

Ok so I don't normally write about products....(and before someone asks, No, I do not work for Tommie Copper. Neither I nor my blog was paid or compensated in any way.) And to be honest this topic is completely different from what I usually blog about. However, I felt is was much needed.

My problems are in my back, neck, shoulder/arm combo. I have nerve damage, disc problems, & degenerative disc disease in these areas. A few months ago I saw a commercial for a product called Tommie Copper. I don't know if anyone has heard about it. I will say I was a complete skeptic and no way thought it would help at all. I did some online research for weeks and found mixed reviews. While it worked for some, others said no results seen. Reviews sometimes do not give honest opinions. It's hard for me to believe what another blogger wrote about a product that the company has sent them free products and asked them to "Try It." Out of most of the reviews I found, this was the case. So I thought I would give you guys my completely honest, unpaid review.

After some debate I figured it was only money and while it's a little pricey, what was $110 if it worked and really made a difference. (They have money back promise.) So after weeks of consideration and still in pain I thought shoot, I'm going to try it. It's copper infused compression clothing. I bought a tank top (since Summer is coming), a short sleeve shirt, and an elbow sleeve for a total of around $110.00. With in 3 days, I practically felt nothing! I've been wearing it for a little over two months and have had no bad episodes to date. Keep in mind that I have those bad episodes normally almost 2x a month for a period of 20 years. So, this is a HUGE improvement!!

I have still been sore from time to time after pushing myself a little too hard but nothing a couple Advil don't solve and it's gone. I can't tell you how long it's been since I've been 9 weeks with this much relief! I'm so impressed. I honestly had zero faith in this stuff but am a loyal customer so far. I don't know if it's the copper or the compression part or the combo that works. I thought about buying regular compression wear from a local sporting good store as it's a little cheaper but can't bring myself to change up what seems to be working so well.

I have also recently seen ads for a cheaper "Copy cat" clothing line. I personally have no experience with this new brand. As I said above, I will not try it this new line as Tommie Copper works for me.

You can only buy it directly from TommieCopper.com. They do have one retail store currently. However the store is not local for me. So if you are lucky enough to live close to the store please go check it out.

Note: One piece of advice I'd like to offer is about sizing. The reviews I read online stated that sizes ran small. My elbow sleeve was ordered in size suggested by their size chart and was perfect. The shirts are measured for sizing on your bust line. I was right on the edge between two sizes, so do to what I read from the reviews online I ordered the larger size. While it fit, I felt it was a little loose for compression purposes. So if you are on the edge of two sizes in the shirts/tops I'd suggest ordering the smaller of the two sizes to get better compression. I have not bought any of the "bottoms" so I am not sure on the sizing of them.

Tommie Copper does have two different clothing lines. The compression wear and and Active Wear. I have only worn the compression as that was what I was looking for. From what I can gather, the Active wear clothing is not compression, but still copper infused. The active wear seems to be a type of Workout clothing for people. So make sure if you decide to try it you buy the Compression Line.

I can not make a promise that you will have same success as I have but I wanted to share my honest opinion for anyone that could possibly benefit from it the way I have. So far it's been a game changer for me after 20+ years of daily pain.

Below are pictures of the items I own. My husband wears the Men's Calf Sleeve but he's at work and wearing them so I can't get a picture at this time for those.
